Transparency
Referral & Disclosure Policy
This page aligns with the vendor-neutrality requirements documented in IMPL_PLAN.md Section 8.2.
Our Commitment to Neutrality
LeAP (Legal Automation Partners) recommends tools based on fit, security, and swap-ability—not commissions. Every fusion template is designed to work with two or more vendors so firms can change tools without rebuilding automations.
When Referral Fees Exist
Some vendors offer referral compensation if a client signs up through our introduction. We disclose those relationships before we share a recommendation, highlight comparable alternatives, and let you decide. Referral economics never influence the scorecards we share with clients.
Current Referral Relationships (November 2025)
We currently have no active referral fees in place. This section will be updated in real time if that changes, including the exact dollar amount or revenue share.
How We Select Vendors
Selection criteria include security posture (SOC 2, HIPAA safeguards, BAA readiness), API quality and documentation, pricing transparency, migration effort, and support responsiveness. Vendors cannot pay to appear in the Vendor Map or in our client scorecards.
Disclosure in Communication
If a tool carries a referral relationship, we label it in proposals, emails, and inside the Vendor Map with a "Referral Fee" badge that links back here. Example language: ‘We earn $500 if you sign up with Vendor A. Here are Vendors B and C with no referral fee so you can compare.’
